Jonathan Wright

Jonathan Wright is a UK/Canadian director and screenwriter whose work includes film, television, and commercials.  His feature film for Sony Pictures, “Awakening the Zodiac,” was nominated for numerous Director’s Guild Awards, including Outstanding Achievement in Direction on a Feature Film.

Jonathan has directed over multiple platforms and genres, garnering two wins from the Canadian Screen Awards for Best Television Movie.

After completing a BFA in Film from Western University, Jonathan relocated to Los Angeles where he quickly moved up the ranks from an assistant director to producer and has worked on more than sixty films.

He has had the good fortune to work closely with and learn from legendary producers such as Joel Silver, Frank Marshall, Kathleen Kennedy, Jerry Bruckheimer, Neil Moritz, Martin Bregman, Avi Lerner and Tony Bill, and directors Richard Donner, Guillermo Del Toro, John Landis and Roland Joffe.
